This is a senior, hands-on Linux infrastructure engineering role responsible for supporting and modernizing large-scale enterprise Linux environments. The position centers on Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Red Hat Satellite, Ansible automation, security hardening and platform lifecycle management.

The selected candidate will:

• Design, deploy, administer and support enterprise RHEL environments.

• Build and maintain standardized RHEL Gold Images that meet security and compliance requirements.

• Perform operating-system upgrades, patching, vulnerability remediation and lifecycle management.

• Administer Red Hat Satellite, including provisioning, repositories, content views, patching and host lifecycle management.

• Develop Ansible playbooks, roles, inventories and automation frameworks.

• Automate server provisioning, configuration, compliance validation and operational processes.

• Create administrative and monitoring tools using Bash, Shell or Python.

• Build, maintain and deploy custom RPM packages.

• Troubleshoot complex Linux performance, operating-system and infrastructure issues.

• Support data-center migrations, platform upgrades, cloud integrations and infrastructure-modernization projects.

• Partner with Infrastructure, Cloud, Security and Application teams to support enterprise workloads.

• Lead or participate in technical projects and document operating standards and procedures.

Required background

The ideal candidate will have at least seven years of enterprise Linux administration experience, including strong hands-on experience with:

• Red Hat Enterprise Linux

• RHEL Gold Image engineering

• Red Hat Satellite

• Ansible Automation Platform

• Bash, Shell or Python scripting

• Custom RPM package development and deployment

• Linux security hardening and vulnerability remediation

• Large-scale enterprise infrastructure

• Performance tuning and advanced troubleshooting

• Technical project delivery

Preferred experience

• AWS and Microsoft Azure

• Terraform and Infrastructure as Code

• VMware or other virtualization platforms

• Hybrid-cloud environments

• CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

• RHCSA or RHCE certification

This is a hybrid role requiring onsite attendance every Tuesday. It is best suited for a senior Linux SME who combines deep RHEL engineering expertise with automation, infrastructure modernization and project leadership experience.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Red Hat Satellite, Ansible Automation, and Linux administration at scale. This role will work closely with Infrastructure, Cloud, Security, and Application teams to deliver reliable, secure, and automated solutions across enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

Linux Platform Administration

Design, deploy, administer, and support enterprise Linux environments primarily based on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).Build, maintain, and enhance standardized RHEL Gold Images following security and compliance requirements. Perform OS upgrades, patching, vulnerability remediation, and lifecycle management. Troubleshoot complex operating system, performance, and infrastructure issues. Create tools and scripts for monitoring, reporting, and system administration activities. Project Delivery Lead and participate in infrastructure modernization and transformation projects. Support data center migrations, platform upgrades, automation initiatives, and cloud integration projects. Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to onboard and support enterprise workloads.  Required Qualifications

7+ years of extensive enterprise Linux administration experience.

7+ experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).Strong experience

7+ building and maintaining RHEL Gold Images. Hands-on experience

7+ administering Red Hat Satellite. Advanced experience with Ansible

7+ Automation Platform. Strong scripting experience with Bash, Shell, or

7+ Python. Experience creating, maintaining, and deploying custom RPM

7+ packages to support enterprise applications and platform

7+ standards. Experience supporting large-scale enterprise infrastructure

7+ environments. Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning

7+ skills. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Preferred

7+ Qualifications

Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Experience with Microsoft Azure.

Knowledge of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices.

Experience with VMware, virtualization platforms, or hybrid cloud environments.

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies.

Red Hat certifications (RHCSA, RHCE) preferred.
