Position Summary We are seeking a highly qualified Pediatric Neuropsychological to provide comprehensive psychological, neuropsychological, and developmental evaluations for children and adolescents from birth through 18 years of age. This position is responsible for conducting detailed assessments to identify cognitive, developmental, behavioral, learning, attentional, language, sensory, and social-emotional concerns, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD), attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), developmental delays, and other neurodevelopmental conditions. Referrals are received from healthcare providers, educators, therapists, and other community professionals. The successful candidate will independently manage all aspects of the evaluation process, including clinical interviews, behavioral observations, standardized test administration, scoring, interpretation, parent feedback conferences, report writing, and collaboration with referral sources. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Clinical Assessment Services Conduct comprehensive psychological, neuropsychological, and developmental evaluations for children and adolescents from birth through age 18. Perform parent and child interviews to obtain developmental, educational, medical, behavioral, and psychosocial histories. Observe children in structured and unstructured assessment settings. Assess cognitive, memory, executive functioning, attention, language, visuospatial reasoning, motor skills, adaptive functioning, sensory processing, and behavioral functioning. Evaluate children presenting with: Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) Developmental delays Learning difficulties Cognitive disorders Memory impairments Executive functioning deficits Sensory processing concerns Language disorders Behavioral and emotional challenges Test Administration and Interpretation Administer, score, and interpret standardized psychological, neuropsychological, developmental, and behavioral assessment instruments. Integrate test findings with clinical observations, developmental history, and collateral information. Formulate diagnostic impressions and recommendations based on evidence-based assessment practices. Ensure all assessment procedures are conducted according to standardized administration guidelines and ethical standards. Reporting and Consultation Prepare comprehensive written evaluation reports summarizing assessment findings, diagnostic impressions, and recommendations. Conduct parent feedback conferences to explain evaluation results and treatment recommendations. Communicate findings and recommendations to referral sources and other professionals as appropriate. Collaborate with physicians, therapists, educators, and other community providers to support treatment planning and care coordination. Documentation and Compliance Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. Adhere to all applicable professional, ethical, legal, and regulatory requirements. Protect client confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and professional standards. Master's degree with specialized training and experience in pediatric psychological assessment may be considered, consistent with licensure requirements. Licensure Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Psychologist, Licensed Psychological Examiner, School Psychologist, or other appropriate credential as required by state regulations. Experience Experience conducting psychological, neuropsychological, and developmental assessments with pediatric populations. Demonstrated experience evaluating children with neurodevelopmental disorders, including autism spectrum disorder and ADHD. Experience integrating multiple assessment modalities into comprehensive diagnostic reports. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong knowledge of child development, neurodevelopmental disorders, psychological testing, and evidence-based assessment practices. Ability to administer, score, and interpret a wide range of standardized assessment instruments. Excellent clinical interviewing, observation, analytical, and report-writing skills. Strong verbal communication skills for providing parent feedback and professional consultation. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams. Preferred Qualifications Specialized training in pediatric neuropsychology. Experience serving children from infancy through adolescence. Experience working in multidisciplinary clinics, hospitals, schools, or developmental assessment settings. Training and experience in autism diagnostic evaluations and developmental disability assessments.
