Pediatric Occupational Therapist lead

Tandy Therapy is looking for an experienced and passionate Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT) Lead to join our growing team. This is a unique opportunity for an OT who loves working directly with children and families and is ready to take on a leadership role within a collaborative pediatric therapy environment. The OT Lead will provide clinical leadership, mentorship, and support to our occupational therapy team while continuing to maintain a meaningful pediatric caseload. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping other therapists grow, supporting clinical consistency, collaborating with COTAs and OTs, and contributing to the continued development of a strong OT department. Our OT Lead is not simply a manager. We are looking for a clinical leader and mentor who can lead by example, build relationships, problem-solve alongside therapists, and help create an environment where therapists feel supported and successful.

What You’ll Do

• Provide skilled occupational therapy services to pediatric clients across a variety of developmental, sensory, motor, and functional needs.
• Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for OTs and COTAs.
• Support new graduates and less-experienced therapists as they develop their clinical skills and confidence.
• Provide guidance with evaluations, treatment planning, documentation, goal development, and clinical decision-making.
• Help promote consistency and quality across the OT department.
• Support COTAs through collaboration, supervision, and ongoing clinical guidance.
• Assist with onboarding, training, and development of new OT team members.
• Help identify opportunities to improve clinical processes, resources, and department systems.
• Collaborate with other disciplines and clinic leadership to support whole-child care.
• Foster a positive, supportive, and collaborative team culture.
• Continue to maintain a pediatric caseload and provide hands-on therapy.
• Participate in department meetings, case discussions, and ongoing professional development.

Who We’re Looking For

We are looking for an OT who is:

• Licensed as an Occupational Therapist in Idaho and/or Washington.
• Experienced working with pediatric clients.
• Confident in pediatric evaluation, treatment planning, and clinical decision-making.
• Passionate about mentoring and developing other therapists.
• A strong communicator who can provide feedback in a supportive and constructive way.
• Organized, dependable, and comfortable taking initiative.
• Someone who enjoys collaboration and wants to contribute to the growth of a department—not just manage a caseload.
• A positive, team-oriented clinician who believes in supporting both families and fellow therapists.
