About the Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Pega CSSA Developer to join our team in Telford, UK, on a permanent basis.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Pega application development, a valid Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) certification, and experience working in Agile development environments.

You will work closely with the Lead Architect and development team to deliver high-quality Pega solutions, ensure compliance with development standards, and contribute to the successful implementation and continuous improvement of enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance Pega applications in accordance with business requirements and established development standards.
• Work within BPM implementation methodologies, including Agile/Scrum and Pega Express.
• Perform testing activities in line with the agreed test strategy to ensure solutions meet business and technical requirements.
• Support the Lead Architect in analysing work packages and providing realistic estimates for delivery.
• Deliver assigned work within agreed timelines, budget, and quality standards.
• Prepare progress reports and communicate delivery status, risks, and issues.
• Manage problems and changes within the assigned area of responsibility.
• Coordinate with other teams and stakeholders to resolve technical issues and dependencies.
• Escalate risks, issues, and blockers promptly to the appropriate stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and follow relevant quality processes and procedures.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 4+ years of experience as a Pega CSSA Developer.
• Mandatory Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) certification.
• Strong hands-on experience in Pega application development and implementation.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Understanding of BPM implementation methodologies and Pega Express.
• Experience with application testing, defect management, and quality assurance.
• Ability to estimate work, manage assigned tasks, and provide progress updates.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be SC Cleared or eligible to obtain SC clearance.
• Must have the right to work in the UK without requiring visa sponsorship.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid model from Telford, UK.
