The Opportunity: We are seeking an experienced People & Culture Business Partner to join our People & Safety team based in Mulgrave. Reporting to the People & Culture Manager, you will provide end-to-end HR support to leaders and employees across a diverse operational workforce. This role has a strong focus on employee relations and industrial relations, with responsibility for workplace investigations, performance and conduct matters, policy interpretation, organisational change support and Enterprise Bargaining Agreement (EBA) matters. You'll work closely with leaders to provide practical advice while ensuring compliance with employment legislation, awards, agreements and internal policies. This is an opportunity to work across a broad range of complex people matters, influence workplace outcomes and build trusted relationships with stakeholders across the business. Your Key Responsibilities Will Include: Provide advice and guidance on employment legislation, awards, enterprise agreements and HR policies. Partner with leaders to manage employee relations, performance, conduct and disciplinary matters. Lead workplace investigations and support fair and consistent case management processes. Support organisational change initiatives and workforce-related people programs. Coach and influence leaders to strengthen people management capability and workplace outcomes. What We’re Looking For: 5+ years' HR experience, preferably within a unionised blue-collar or service-based environment. Experience in employee and industrial relations, including award and Enterprise Bargaining Agreement interpretation. Proven capability in managing workplace investigations, performance and conduct matters. Practical understanding of employment legislation, compliance obligations and regulatory requirements. Ability to analyse HR data and reports, supported by strong communication, influencing and problem-solving skills.
