People Business Partner - Ireland, Germany and USA
Fixed Term - 12 Months
Location: Dublin | Contract: Fixed Term | Working across: Ireland, Germany and the USA

The Role
We’re looking for a commercially minded and people-focused People Business Partner to join our People team on a fixed-term basis.
This is a broad partnering role for someone who enjoys working closely with leaders, understanding what is happening within their teams and turning that into practical action. You’ll support stakeholders primarily in Ireland while also partnering with colleagues and leaders across Germany and the USA, giving you exposure to an international and evolving business.
As well as providing trusted advice across the employee lifecycle, you’ll play an important role in some of our key People priorities – particularly building skills and capability, strengthening manager effectiveness and helping us use AI in a practical and responsible way to improve how we work.
We’re not looking for someone who simply applies HR process. We want someone who can understand the business, ask good questions, challenge constructively and help leaders make better people decisions.

What you’ll be doing
- Partnering with leaders and managers to understand their teams, priorities and people challenges.
- Coaching leaders to build their confidence and capability in managing people effectively.
- Supporting performance, development, progression and capability conversations.
- Helping identify current and future skills gaps and translating these into meaningful development and capability priorities.
- Supporting the delivery of initiatives that strengthen leadership, management and organisational capability.
- Helping us explore how AI and emerging technology can simplify People activity, improve insight and build capability across the organisation, while ensuring it is used appropriately and responsibly.
- Providing pragmatic advice on employee relations, policy and people risk across multiple jurisdictions.
- Supporting organisational change, restructures and team transitions.
- Using people data, feedback and themes from across the business to identify issues, opportunities and areas requiring attention.
- Supporting engagement activity and helping leaders turn feedback into meaningful action.
- Working closely with colleagues across the People team to deliver joined-up, consistent support.
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders across Ireland, Germany and the USA and working effectively across different cultures, teams and time zones.
What we’re looking for
You’ll ideally have experience operating as a People Business Partner, HR Business Partner or strong People/HR Generalist within a growing or complex organisation.
More importantly, you’ll bring:
- Strong business partnering and stakeholder management skills.
- The confidence to coach and constructively challenge senior stakeholders.
- Good knowledge of Irish employment law and employee relations.
- Excellent employment law knowledge.
- Strong judgement and the ability to balance employee experience, commercial needs and risk.
- A genuine interest in skills, capability and how organisations prepare their people for changing ways of working.
- Curiosity about AI and emerging technology, and how it can be used practically rather than simply for the sake of adopting new tools.
- The ability to use data, insight and organisational themes to influence decisions.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Comfort working across an international organisation and collaborating with colleagues in different countries.
- High levels of emotional intelligence, discretion and common sense.
- We’re looking for someone curious, willing to work at pace and able to help leaders and teams think differently about how work gets done.
