OHB Czechspace s.r.o. was established in 2017 and is part of the OHB SE technology group. As a member of one of the major independent groups in the European space industry, OHB Czechspace plays a significant role. With a young team of well-trained and highly skilled engineers, the company has proven its competence through contributions to several internationally recognized projects. The main business activities of OHB Czechspace focus on the development, system integration, and supply of structural, thermal, and optical subsystems, payloads, MGSE, and launcher structures. These activities include structural and thermal analyses, mechanical and thermal design, mechanical testing, procurement, as well as quality and product assurance. Since its establishment, OHB Czechspace has been involved in several key European Space Agency (ESA) programmes, such as the planetary defence missions HERA and RAMSES, the science and exploration missions PLATO and Comet Interceptor, and the space transportation mission NEP RocketRoll. People & Communications Specialist

Your Tasks

Do you enjoy working with people, creating engaging content, and helping build a positive company culture? Are you looking for a role where no two days are the same and where you can make a real impact from day one?

We are looking for a motivated and proactive People & Communications Specialist to join our team. At OHB Czechspace, you will help shape both the employee experience and the company's public presence. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with around two years of professional experience who wants to grow in HR, communications, and employer branding while working in the exciting space industry.

What you will do

• Help us attract and support great people
• Support recruitment activities, including candidate communication, interview coordination, and onboarding of new colleagues
• Assist with employee lifecycle processes, from onboarding to offboarding
• Contribute to learning and development initiatives and help organize training activities
• Work closely with the HR Generalist to ensure smooth HR operations and positive employee experience

Help us tell our story

• Create engaging content for LinkedIn, Facebook, and other communication channels
• Support the preparation of articles, news updates, and communication materials
• Maintain and update website content
• Help strengthen our employer brand and showcase what it is like to work at OHB Czechspace
• Connect us with the outside world
• Support the planning and execution of marketing and communication activities
• Assist with company participation in conferences, fairs, and industry events
• Coordinate promotional materials and help represent the company at external events

Your Qualifications

What we are looking for

• Around 2 years of experience in HR, recruitment, marketing, communications, administration, or a similar field
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn new things
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
• Interest in people, communication, and employer branding
• Excellent command of English
• Experience with social media, content creation, or recruitment is an advantage
