About the role

You'll be the linchpin of talent management at KPI Media — running recruitment end-to-end, keeping HR operations and compliance airtight across a remote, multi-country team, and building the culture and events that make a distributed agency feel like one team.

What you'll do

• Spearhead the full recruitment cycle — crafting job descriptions, running interviews, and securing top talent with a seamless candidate experience
• Own comprehensive onboarding so new hires are set up to succeed from day one
• Manage and optimise HR processes including leave, reimbursements, tax submissions, and claims
• Maintain and continually enhance our HR database and records
• Support organisational structure and headcount planning
• Collaborate closely with Finance on the HR side of payroll and reward systems
• Design and run initiatives that strengthen our culture and sense of shared purpose across time zones
• Coordinate and champion remote training sessions that people actually get value from
• Orchestrate our annual retreat and other in-person gatherings
• Facilitate our monthly performance review cycle, translating feedback into actionable insights for leadership

What we're looking for

• A diploma or degree in Business Management, Human Resource Management, or a related field
• 1–2 years hands-on HR experience — in an agency, a startup, or in-house
• Working knowledge of employment law in at least one of: Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, or Vietnam
• Comfortable with Talenox, Xero/Aspire, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office
• Strong written English and a discreet, self-directed approach to sensitive information

Nice to have

• Experience with HRIS/HRMS implementation or migration
• Exposure to payroll administration or ESOP/cap table record-keeping
• Prior experience in an advertising agency, startup, or other lean, fast-scaling environment
• A relevant HR certification (e.g. IHRP)
