With HR operations at the core, you’ll also support Onboarding, Employee Engagement & Retention, Performance & Talent Management and Employer Branding, from a new joiner’s first day to the everyday support that helps our people thrive.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day HR administration across the employee lifecycle, including employee records, contracts, documentation and HR system updates.
Act as a first point of contact for employee queries on HR policies, procedures and administrative matters.
Handle starter, mover and leaver administration, including probation reviews, contract amendments, exit procedures and Jobsplus notifications.
Provide full support to the Recruitment Executive as needed, from scheduling and attending interviews to preparing and sending employment contracts.
Coordinate employee onboarding, helping new hires settle in and thrive.
Assist in maintaining and updating HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local labour laws and organisational standards.
Prepare HR reports and metrics to support decision-making and track key people trends.
Monitor employee wellbeing and engagement, contributing to initiatives that promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
Support performance management processes, including goal setting, reviews and follow-ups with managers and employees.
Provide administrative support for learning and development activities, including training logistics, attendance records and related documentation.
Assist with audits and compliance checks to ensure HR practices meet legal and organisational requirements.
Ensure employee data is handled confidentially and in line with GDPR.
Act as a trusted advisor to employees, fostering a culture of openness, trust and collaboration.
Contribute to HR projects that enhance the employee experience and drive positive change.
Support employee relations matters by providing guidance on workplace concerns, resolving issues fairly and ensuring alignment with company policies.
At least two years’ HR experience, with a strong grounding in HR administration.
Experience in onboarding, performance follow-ups and HR compliance.
A diploma in HR Management, Psychology or a related field.
Good working knowledge of Maltese employment legislation.
Excellent organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
Confidence with data and HR systems. Experience with Shireburn is an asset.
Strong communication skills in Maltese and English.
A warm, collaborative and people-focused approach, combined with professionalism and integrity.
