Job Description:
About the Role
Dow Jones has an exciting opportunity to join our People team as a People Experience Partner. This role will partner closely with People Business Partners, Centers of Excellence, People Operations, and operational teams to create better experiences for employees and managers across the full lifecycle.
This is an opportunity to shape how People support is delivered in a modern, global organization. The role will focus on improving employee journeys, simplifying processes, resolving pain points, and moving repeatable transactional work to People Operations to keep the operating model efficient and evolving.
You will work in our Midtown Manhattan office 3 days a week and report to the Senior Manager, People Experience.
You Will
- Support global People priorities aligned to People Team strategy and business goals, delivering scalable solutions first and tailoring for regional requirements where needed to drive efficiency and consistency.
- Use data, employee feedback, case trends and service insight to identify opportunities to improve key employee and manager moments across the employee lifecycle, escalating recurring themes and helping prioritise meaningful improvements.
- Provide high-quality support to employees and managers across complex or higher-impact moments in the employee lifecycle, requiring sound judgement, clear ownership and effective coordination.
- Support the delivery of simpler, faster and more human-centred processes that improve employee journeys and reduce friction.
- Use AI and technology solutions to improve self-service, knowledge quality, service efficiency and employee experience, following established governance, privacy and compliance standards.
- Partner with People Operations and regional stakeholders to ensure work is owned by the right team, routed efficiently and delivered effectively across the operating model.
- Move repeatable or transactional activity to People Operations, self-service or automated channels, creating more capacity for higher-value support.
- Support complex or sensitive employee matters, ensuring clear ownership, strong communication and a positive employee experience.
- Partner with People Business Partners, Legal, Compensation, Mobility and specialist teams to deliver joined-up solutions.
- Support change initiatives, pilots and continuous improvement programmes that can scale globally.
- Measure success through service improvements, reduced friction, stronger satisfaction and smarter ways of working.
- Support the creation of clear, trusted and scalable knowledge content for employees and managers.
- Provide practical guidance and support to leaders and stakeholders to improve team effectiveness and employee outcomes.
- Contribute to global People projects and help scale successful ideas across other regions.
You Have
- 2-4 years of experience in an HR, employee experience, people operations, or advisory role, ideally within an international or multi-country environment
- Strong understanding of HR processes across the employee lifecycle
- Experience using data, insights, and metrics to identify trends and guide decisions
- Experience using HR systems and technology platforms to improve processes, employee experience and service delivery
- Experience supporting employees and managers through a range of people-related matters
- Experience contributing to change, continuous improvement or service transformation initiatives
- Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to balance employee experience and business needs
- Experience using or the aptitude to use AI-enabled solutions and digital tools to improve efficiency, service delivery and employee experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple stakeholders
- High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Positive, proactive mindset with a collaborative approach
