We are looking for a highly organized and proactive People Operations Generalist who combines solid HR expertise with a proactive mindset and a strong sense of ownership. In this role, you'll help keep our centrally located Lisbon office running smoothly and be the go-to person for our core HR processes and ensure a seamless employee experience across our employees' lifecycle. Your Responsibilities People Operations & Administration Be a trusted point of contact for employees and managers on HR-related topics for our team. Prepare employment contracts, addendums, references, and other HR documents. Manage the onboarding and offboarding experience for new joiners and leavers. Maintain employee records and manage HR data in our system (BambooHR). Manage monthly payroll preparation with external providers, ensuring full compliance with local SAF-T billing and statutory reporting requirements. Oversee local municipal tax compliance, reporting, and payment schedules. Ensure overall compliance with labor laws, statutory tax requirements, and internal policies. Office Management & Culture Oversee the Lisbon office to ensure it is organized, fully stocked, and presentable for staff and visitors. Manage office bills, incoming post, and relationships with local vendors and service providers. Provide ad-hoc administrative assistance to the CEO, including calendar coordination and managing local paperwork / notary visits. Organize our local team events and foster a great company culture through your initiatives.
