People Operations Lead (Part-time)

We bring risk, internal audit, compliance, resilience, AI governance and sustainability onto one data model, used by audit, risk and compliance leaders in regulated organisations. Our team works across several countries and time zones, and we're building the people foundations to support the next stage of growth.
We're looking for an experienced People Operations professional to design and run how we bring people in, support them and keep our records in order. This is a hands-on role.
What you'll do
- Run onboarding and offboarding for a distributed team of employees, contractors and advisers across multiple jurisdictions
- Manage the full lifecycle of engagement documentation, working with our legal advisers
- Maintain accurate people records, including equity and vesting schedules
- Draft and maintain core HR policies, a team handbook and standard operating procedures
- Set up and administer lightweight HR, contractor-management and equity tools
- Coordinate performance review and feedback cycles
- Ensure people data is handled in line with UK GDPR and relevant local data protection law
- Produce simple people reporting for leadership, covering headcount, engagement status and upcoming obligations
What you'll bring
- Seven or more years in HR or People Operations, including building processes from scratch
- Experience supporting international or distributed teams, including contractors
- Strong command of documentation, record-keeping and confidentiality
- Working knowledge of data protection principles, UK GDPR ideally
- Fluent written and spoken English; Arabic is an advantage
- Judgement to know when something needs legal input, and the discipline to escalate it
Desirable
- Experience in B2B software, technology or a regulated sector such as financial services
- Exposure to scaleups and equity administration
