Mission: We're on a mission to make our client the most loved electronics brand in the world, where every product feels joyful, effortless, and personal. We're hiring a People Operations Specialist to be the engine behind how our client finds, hires, and onboards A Players, while keeping our CEO's calendar, travel, and day-to-day running like clockwork.
Growth: Profitable growth with 5M+ customers and international expansion.
Location: Fully remote. 9 AM - 6 PM EST, Mon - Fri
Compensation: Competitive base + discretionary bonus + equity options
Team: This role reports directly to our client's CEO. Once our client's Director of HR is fully onboarded, this role will transition to report into that seat. You'll partner closely with hiring managers across every department and be a trusted extension of the CEO's office.
Why Now: Our client is scaling fast, with new product verticals, international expansion, and a growing bar for the talent we bring in. We need someone who can own the full recruiting engine end-to-end while keeping the CEO's operating rhythm tight. This is a high-visibility seat for someone who wants direct exposure to how a growth-stage consumer brand hires and operates.
You'd Be a Fit If You Have:

2+ years of experience in talent acquisition, recruiting coordination, or HR generalist work, ideally at a fast-moving consumer brand or startup
Hands-on experience running a full recruiting cycle: sourcing, posting JDs, screening resumes, scheduling and conducting interviews
Comfort drafting and administering HR agreements, including consulting agreements and full-time offer letters, with sharp attention to accuracy and confidentiality
Experience building or running an onboarding process that gets new hires productive fast
A knack for executive support: calendar judgment, travel logistics, and meeting coordination for a fast-moving CEO
A tendency to be hyper-organized, discreet, and detail-obsessed, so nothing falls through the cracks
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Key Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition & Recruiting: Own the full-cycle recruiting process for open roles, writing and posting JDs, sourcing and screening candidates, coordinating and running interviews, and keeping hiring managers and candidates moving without delay
Candidate Experience: Be the primary point of contact for candidates from first outreach through offer, delivering warm, on-brand communication at every step
HR Agreements: Draft and administer HR agreements, including consulting agreements and full-time offer letters, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance
Onboarding: Design and run a smooth onboarding experience for new hires, covering paperwork, equipment, first-week schedules, and check-ins, so new team members are productive fast
Executive Support: Manage travel logistics and meeting scheduling for the CEO, anticipating needs and solving logistics before they become problems
Process & Reporting: Maintain clean, up-to-date candidate and hiring records; flag pipeline bottlenecks and recommend fixes
What Success Looks Like:

Open roles fill faster, with hiring managers and candidates reporting a smooth, well-run process
HR agreements go out accurately and on time, with zero compliance issues
New hires ramp quickly thanks to a consistent, well-run onboarding experience
The CEO's calendar, travel, and meetings run without last-minute scrambles
Candidate pipeline data is clean, current, and used to spot and fix bottlenecks
Why Work at our client:

Impact: Your work directly shapes who joins our client and how the CEO's office runs
Autonomy: Own the recruiting engine and executive operations with real decision-making power
Team: Grounded, ambitious, and kind coworkers who get sh*t done
Perks and Benefits:

50% team discount on all our client products
$1,500 annual L&D stipend (conferences, certifications, seminars)
$200 StubHub gift card for cultural events
Team building budget (dinners, happy hours, employee appreciation)
Monthly team lunch + snack/soft drink budget
March Madness bracket
Annual charity event (City Harvest, Bowery Mission, etc.)
What to Expect in the Process:

Hiring Manager Interview: A conversation with our client's CEO to dive deeper into your prior experience and align on vision, values, and impact
Case Study: A practical exercise tailored to the role, designed to highlight how you think and execute
Final Round: Meet the broader team (virtual, given the role is fully remote)
