The People Partner (ER Partnership focus) plays a meaningful role in delivering consistent, compliant, and high-quality employee relations outcomes across the organization. This role partners closely with People Partners, Business Partners, Legal, and leaders to manage risk, ensure fair outcomes, and strengthen employee relations capability at scale.

This role sits within the People Partnering function, leading the end-to-end management of employee relations matters, while enabling leaders to confidently navigate complex people scenarios.


What You'll Do

1. Employee Relations Case Management

  • Lead complex and sensitive ER cases including investigations, grievances, disciplinary matters, and whistleblower cases
  • Ensure fair, consistent, and legally compliant outcomes across all cases
  • Partner with managers to develop and implement appropriate outcomes (e.g., PIPs, terminations, corrective actions)

2. Investigations & Risk Mitigation

  • Conduct objective, detailed investigations and provide clear recommendations
  • Identify ER trends, hotspots, and emerging risks, proactively mitigating issues before escalation
  • Ensure adherence to global ER frameworks, protocols, and governance standards

3. Governance, Compliance & Documentation

  • Maintain accurate, confidential case documentation within case management systems
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements, internal policies, and global standards
  • Represent the organization in external forums where required (e.g., hearings, regulatory processes)

4. Partnership & Advisory

  • Engage with People Partners and Business Partners regarding senior or complex ER matters
  • Provide guidance to managers, building confidence and capability in handling employee relations issues
  • Support escalation and resolution of enterprise-level ER risks

5. Policy & Practice Development

  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of ER policies, frameworks, and procedures
  • Ensure consistency in application across regions and business units

6. Manager Capability & Prevention

  • Proactively coach leaders on ER standards and effective team management
  • Build manager capability to reduce repeat issues and prevent avoidable ER cases

What We're Looking For

  • Strong experience in employee relations, ideally in a global or multi-country environment
  • Proven ability to manage high volume complex investigations and sensitive workplace issues
  • Solid knowledge of employment law and regulatory frameworks
  • Excellent judgment, sensitivity, discretion, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to influence and coach leaders effectively
