Real Estate Asset Manager - Northern & Central Europe

We are seeking an experienced Asset Manager to join Nokia Real Estate organisation and lead the strategic management of the Northern & Central Europe real estate portfolio. The role acts as a strategic real estate partner to the business, translating business, technology and workforce requirements into portfolio and location strategies that improve Nokia’s long-term cost base, operational effectiveness and ability to support innovation.

The portfolio scope is organised as a Northern & Central Europe cluster, providing a scalable regional model that can evolve over time as portfolio priorities and organisational responsibilities change.

The Asset Manager is the strategic owner of an assigned European cluster portfolio and is accountable for portfolio performance, strategic execution and successful delivery of business outcomes across the geography. Acting as the primary interface between Business Groups, Location Strategy, Country Leadership, Corporate Functions and the Real Estate organisation, the role challenges and translates business priorities into portfolio strategies, investment decisions and transaction programs that support Nokia’s long-term objectives.

The role combines strategic portfolio ownership, business engagement, transaction strategy and transformation execution, ensuring that real estate decisions create measurable value for the business while supporting growth, innovation, structural cost efficiency and long-term portfolio sustainability.

This is a highly visible leadership role operating within a complex global environment. Success requires the ability to influence senior stakeholders, drive strategic initiatives, manage competing priorities and deliver results through others while maintaining strong governance and execution discipline.

• Develop and drive the real estate portfolio strategy across Northern & Central Europe, ensuring alignment with business goals and long-term growth plans.
• Partner with senior business leaders to translate business, workforce, and operational needs into strategic real estate solutions.
• Lead portfolio optimization initiatives that improve space utilization, reduce operating costs, and maximize value creation.
• Drive major transformation programs, including footprint optimization, location strategy implementation, site consolidations, and M&A-related projects.Lead the strategy and delivery of complex real estate transactions, including leasing, renewals, acquisitions, disposals, developments, and restructuring initiatives.
• Build compelling business cases and strategic recommendations to support executive decision-making and investment prioritization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure successful execution of portfolio initiatives and achievement of measurable business outcomes.
• Champion sustainability, resilience, innovation, and continuous improvement across portfolio management and real estate investment activities.
  

• 10+ years of experience in corporate real estate, portfolio management, asset management, or related strategic real estate roles.
• Proven track record of leading portfolio transformation programs and complex real estate transactions in large, international organizations.
• Strong business and financial acumen, with experience developing business cases, scenario analyses, investment recommendations, and cost optimization strategies.
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders, challenge assumptions, and translate business needs into strategic portfolio solutions.
• Experience managing multiple high-impact initiatives simultaneously and driving results through cross-functional collaboration in matrix environments.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive presentation skills, with the ability to build consensus across diverse stakeholder groups.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field; a Master's degree, MBA, or relevant professional certification is an advantage.
