The People Technology Analyst provides technical support for human capital management (HCM) / People systems across all functions and platforms, including core data, time management, talent acquisition, performance, learning, benefits, and compensation. The People Technology Analyst supports People system functions and drives department system implementations to support overall business needs. This role serves as the technical point-of-contact for assigned functional areas. The People Technology Analyst develops test scripts, defines configuration change requests, and prepares configuration change documents, while applying problem-solving skills and reasoning to respond to questions, resolve reported issues, etc. The People Technology Analyst works closely with stakeholders to analyze and document current processes and procedures, while taking a consultative approach to improving business efficiency and system functionality.

What You'll Do

  • Configure and maintain HRIS systems, including enhancements, fixes, compliance requirements, upgrades, testing, validation, and overall system performance.
  • Troubleshoot system issues, conduct root-cause analysis, recommend and implement solutions, and provide functional expertise, guidance, and user support.
  • Design, develop, and maintain reports, dashboards, analytics, data integrations, and People insights to support business needs.
  • Develop and execute test scenarios, perform system and end-to-end testing, validate new releases, and support user acceptance testing activities.
  • Provide training, documentation, and support materials for People professionals, managers, employees, and business users, including handling data and information requests.
  • Collaborate with People teams, business stakeholders, technical teams, and third-party vendors to gather requirements, implement solutions, ensure successful adoption, and support related systems such as background screening and E-Verify.
  • Drive continuous improvement by optimizing processes, ensuring SOX compliance, leveraging best practices across People functions, contributing to technical documentation, and mentoring less experienced analysts.

What You'll Bring

  • Demonstrates strong analytical thinking, curiosity for uncovering insights from data, and advanced problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Possesses excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams and organizational levels.
  • Able to quickly learn new tools, navigate ambiguity, challenge existing practices constructively, and adapt to changing business needs.
  • Maintains a high level of attention to detail, manages confidential information responsibly, and applies a thoughtful end-to-end approach to problem-solving.
  • Has strong knowledge of People processes, functions, systems, analytics, organizational structures, and related data elements.
  • Experience with People technology platforms, system implementations, and HRIS solutions, including SuccessFactors, is preferred; process improvement experience is an advantage.
  • Holds a bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) and demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly advanced Excel functions.
