Job Summary
Are you highly organised, proactive, and passionate about supporting senior leaders in a fast-paced environment? We are seeking a dynamic Personal Assistant to provide dedicated administrative and operational support to the leadership team within Transactional Banking South Africa.This role requires an individual who can manage complex schedules, coordinate stakeholder engagements, support strategic initiatives, and ensure the smooth running of day-to-day business activities. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and prioritise executive calendars, inboxes, meetings, and action items.
- Coordinate leadership meetings, business reviews, workshops, and stakeholder engagements.
- Arrange and manage travel logistics, including flights, accommodation, itineraries, and expense claims.
- Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, presentations, reports, minutes, and other business documentation.
- Track action items, follow-ups, and deliverables to ensure timely execution.
- Support governance activities by coordinating reporting requirements, submissions, and key business updates.
- Manage departmental communications and assist with stakeholder coordination across internal and external parties.
- Organise team events, offsites, conferences, and client engagements.
- Maintain accurate filing systems, records, and documentation in line with governance requirements.
- Provide general administrative support to the leadership team and assist with franchise-wide initiatives as required.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Office Management, Commerce, or a related field will be advantageous.
Experience
- 3–5 years' experience as a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant, or similar support role.
- Experience supporting senior executives within a corporate or financial services environment is advantageous.
- Proven experience coordinating meetings, travel, events, and stakeholder engagements.
- Experience preparing executive presentations, reports, and professional business correspondence.

- Exceptional organisation and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building capabilities.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
- Proactive, adaptable, and solutions-oriented approach.
- Strong planning, coordination, and follow-through skills.
- Ability to work independently while remaining highly collaborative.
