Personal Injury Paralegal - full time or part time We are seeking an experienced Personal Injury Paralegal to support a U.S. law firm handling plaintiff-side personal injury matters from intake through settlement or litigation. This is a fully remote role for a legal professional with strong case management skills, excellent attention to detail, and hands-on experience managing personal injury claims and communicating with clients, medical providers, insurers, and attorneys. Key Responsibilities Support attorneys with personal injury matters from initial intake through settlement and litigation. Conduct client intake and gather accident, injury, insurance, employment, and medical information. Request, collect, and organize medical records, medical bills, police reports, insurance records, and other supporting documentation. Maintain regular communication with clients regarding treatment status, case progress, and outstanding documents. Communicate with medical providers, insurance adjusters, opposing counsel, experts, and other parties. Prepare demand packages, settlement documentation, correspondence, and case summaries. Track medical treatment, liens, insurance coverage, damages, and settlement activity. Assist with lien resolution and gathering payoff information. Draft pleadings, discovery requests, discovery responses, notices, subpoenas, and other litigation documents when cases proceed to litigation. Assist with deposition, mediation, hearing, and trial preparation. Organize exhibits, medical records, damages documentation, and litigation materials. Track statutes of limitation, court deadlines, discovery deadlines, and case milestones. Prepare and submit court filings through applicable electronic filing systems. Maintain accurate and organized digital case files. Work within the firm's case management and document management systems. Follow established firm procedures and quality standards. Candidate Requirements Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a Paralegal, Lawyer, or Attorney. Minimum 2 years of experience working as a personal injury paralegal for a law firm in the United States. Strong hands-on experience with U.S. plaintiff-side personal injury matters. Experience managing personal injury cases from intake through settlement. Strong experience obtaining and organizing medical records, bills, insurance records, and supporting evidence. Experience preparing settlement demand packages. Experience communicating directly with clients, medical providers, insurance companies, and attorneys. Familiarity with bodily injury claims, insurance coverage, medical treatment, liens, damages, and settlement procedures. Litigation experience, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, mediation, or trial preparation. Strong understanding of statutes of limitation and case deadlines. Strong legal drafting and document preparation skills. Experience with personal injury or legal case management software. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 or comparable cloud-based business tools. Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
