Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Pharmacist at ChildLife Foundation. The Pharmacist will be responsible for reviewing and verifying medication orders, ensuring accurate dispensing, and monitoring drug therapy for pediatric patients across the emergency and telemedicine network. Day-to-day tasks include providing medication counseling to clinical staff, supporting safe and rational prescribing practices, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of pediatric pharmacology and treatment protocols. The role involves collaborating with physicians, nurses, and telemedicine teams to optimize medication use, support formulary management, and uphold regulatory and safety standards. The Pharmacist will also participate in quality improvement initiatives, documentation, and reporting related to medication safety and clinical outcomes.

Qualifications

• Licensed Pharmacist with a Bachelor’s or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited institution; pediatric or clinical pharmacy experience is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, dosing calculations, and medication safety principles, particularly in pediatric care settings.
• Proficiency with electronic health records, e-prescribing systems, and pharmacy information systems; ability to work effectively in a remote, technology-enabled environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to provide clear guidance to healthcare teams and collaborate across multidisciplinary settings.
• Demonstrated attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple cases and priorities in a fast-paced clinical environment.
