AUM+ is seeking a consultant to provide temporary administrative and operational support to our Philanthropic Services team. The team manages day-to-day client servicing and fund administration for donor-advised, pooled, and fiscally sponsored funds.
This engagement will focus on fulfilling client requests, maintaining fund records and documentation, and supporting transaction processing. We are looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable coordinating with clients and internal teams.
Engagement Details:
Time commitment: 30–40 hours per week
Duration: 3–6 months
Hourly rate: $35–$40, commensurate with experience
Scope of Work
Client and Fund Administration:
Provide client services support, including administrative account updates, login assistance, and organizing the client services inbox.
Support new fund enrollment, entering client information, and organizing supporting documentation.
Support data updates and requests.
Manage triage of inquiries with the appropriate AUM+ team members, including the VP Philanthropic Services.
Document Preparation and Coordination:
Prepare documents for execution in line with established procedures.
Coordinate DocuSign routing and follow up with internal stakeholders, fund staff, and project staff to ensure timely completion.
Keep AUM+ Shared Drive records complete, organized, and aligned with naming and filing protocols.
File grant agreements, MOUs, contribution verifications, transaction records, enrollment materials, and other required documents.
Flag missing documentation and retrieve or share documents when requested.
Transaction Processing and Support:
Enter transactions in systems using information from funds, clients, and AUM+ team members.
Review details for completeness and work with team members to resolve gaps before entry.
Support transaction approvals and posting to meet month-end bank reconciliation deadlines.
Update Monday.com and Shared Drive trackers with transaction status and completion details.
Coordinate with the Finance team on payments and transactions as needed.
Relevant Experience and Skills
Experience providing operational support, ideally in a client-facing role in philanthropic services or fund administration.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.
Clear communication and timely follow-through with clients and colleagues.
Comfort working across software platforms, shared file systems, and tracking tools.
Ability to follow established procedures and handle confidential information with care.
