Who we Are?

Intersection is an experience-driven Out of Home media and technology company that delivers programming, consumer amenities, and advertising to cities. From free internet access to way-finding to real-time information, our products make city life easier and more sustainable. We further enrich cities with experiential programming that inspires and engages people throughout their day. With valuable, diverse audiences in America’s top cities, we provide innovative, data-driven solutions for brands to reach urbanites at scale.

What is the Role?

Intersection is seeking a meticulous, skilled, and detail-oriented photographer for a full-time role in our Atlanta office. Reporting to our Senior Marketing Manager, you will capture static and in-motion digital media assets on streets and in rail stations across the city of Atlanta and Cobb County.

Rather than simply providing proof that a campaign was posted, you will shoot through a sales-marketing lens—capturing our Out-of-Home (OOH) campaigns at their most effective for client use, back-end marketing materials, social media, and recap videos.

Success in this role requires balancing a keen eye for urban street photography and the mind of an organized planner. You will independently manage weekly planning—gathering campaign data from internal systems, juggling competing deadlines, and mapping out an efficient capture plan for the week ahead. While a 40-hour full-time position, the role requires the flexibility to shoot when optimal conditions present themselves, with a heavy emphasis on peak commuter hours (7-9am & 4-6pm) in the city's most populated areas, plus occasional nights and weekends for major market events.

What you will accomplish:

  • Shooting high-impact marketing photos of static and in-motion outdoor advertising during morning and evening rush hours (7-9am & 4-6pm) to leverage optimal crowd, traffic, and lighting conditions
  • Conducting weekly planning by pulling campaign posting and tracking info from internal systems, managing competing deadlines, and mapping out efficient weekly shot lists
  • Batch editing hero photos—including light AI touch-ups when necessary—and uploading/tagging all assets in the Intersection photo library within deadlines
  • Corresponding with internal stakeholders (Marketing, Inventory, and Sales teams) and providing clear status updates during weekly manager check-ins—proactively presenting pivots when field challenges arise
  • Leading bespoke photoshoots of outdoor assets and flexing your schedule for occasional night/weekend events (concerts, sporting events, marathons) to showcase the power and atmosphere of our OOH media
  • Capturing short video clips, time-lapses, and motion assets for use in social media and campaign recap videos

In the first 3 months you will:

  • Understand how photography and video aid the sales process—going beyond basic proof-of-performance—and feel confident capturing all static and digital assets under optimal conditions.
  • Learn to navigate internal tracking systems and establish weekly planning workflows with Marketing, Inventory, and Sales to manage incoming requests across competing deadlines.
  • Build a strong rhythm with our Senior Marketing Manager for weekly check-ins, status reporting, and proactive problem-solving when field challenges arise.

Within the first year you will:

  • Master how dynamic marketing photography and video drive the sales cycle.
  • Establish yourself as a reliable, autonomous member of the Marketing team, continuously elevating the visual work coming out of the Atlanta office.
  • Build relationships with our corporate creative team and assist with national projects as needed.

You're a great fit for this role because:

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in Photography or a related field, basic photography equipment (required), a valid driver’s license, and reliable access to a car.
  • You have the mind of an organized planner who can pull data from internal systems, manage competing deadlines, and work independently through a weekly shot list.
  • You are a strong communicator and proactive problem-solver who provides clear status updates and presents quick solutions when plans change.
  • You have a flexible approach to your 40-hour schedule to shoot during rush hours and occasional night/weekend market events.
  • You’ve got an artistic eye for urban street photography and are comfortable shooting in busy public spaces to capture the vibe of the city.
  • You have experience shooting short-form digital video clips for social media and recap videos.
  • You’re proficient in Mac & PC platforms, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Cloud (specifically batch editing and light AI retouching).
  • You’ve got Out-of-Home media experience (a strong plus).

In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must submit an up-to-date online portfolio featuring work samples related to the job requirements.
