Role Overview The Photographer leads the photographic execution and visual quality of Tribe X campaigns, social content, and brand productions. This is a hands-on role responsible for translating approved creative direction into polished, strategically aligned imagery while maintaining strong technical standards and confident on-set leadership. The role also supports the development of junior creators, collaborates closely with multidisciplinary teams, and ensures photography projects move smoothly from pre-production through shooting, retouching, and final delivery. What You’ll Do Lead and execute photography across campaigns, social content, lifestyle shoots, and other brand initiatives. Translate approved briefs, mood boards, and creative direction into strong visual storytelling through lighting, composition, framing, styling, and talent direction. Direct decisions related to lighting, composition, framing, styling, shot execution, and overall production quality. Take confident creative and technical decisions on set, solving challenges without unnecessarily compromising quality, timelines, or the approved direction. Partner with Creative, Strategy, Production, Accounts, stylists, retouchers, and external talent to align campaign objectives with production execution. Review selections and retouched assets, provide clear feedback, and ensure final imagery meets creative, technical, platform, and client standards. Mentor junior and mid-level creators, photographers, and freelance talent by setting clear expectations and providing constructive creative and technical guidance. Organise, back up, upload, and hand over project materials using clear folder structures, consistent naming conventions, and reliable file-management practices. Take responsibility for the correct use, care, tracking, security, and timely return of photography equipment and other company production assets. What You Bring (Qualifications) Must Have Demonstrated senior-level experience in commercial, campaign, lifestyle, editorial, or brand photography. Experience working with hospitality, luxury, travel, real estate, fashion, or premium lifestyle brands. A strong portfolio showing premium visual craft, storytelling, lighting, composition, and a consistent creative point of view. Experience independently leading photography productions from preparation and shoot execution through selection and final delivery. Strong technical knowledge of professional camera systems, lenses, lighting equipment, and photography-production workflows. Proficiency in photography and post-production tools. Advanced understanding of lighting, composition, framing, colour, visual storytelling, and talent direction. Ability to interpret creative briefs and balance aesthetic quality with campaign objectives, audience insight, brand positioning, and platform requirements. Strong organisation, communication, ownership, and creative problem-solving skills, with the ability to perform reliably during high-demand production periods. Ability to perform reliably within fast-paced, high-expectation production environments. Nice to Have Experience working with hospitality, luxury, travel, real estate, fashion, or premium lifestyle brands. Experience directing or collaborating with models, stylists, set designers, and other production specialists. Experience mentoring photography assistants, junior creators, or retouchers. Familiarity with short-form video or hybrid content-production workflows. Experience using AI-assisted photography, retouching, or production tools. Experience working across regional or international markets.
