PHP React Engineer

We are looking for experienced full-stack software engineers to join a product engineering team. The role focuses on end-to-end ownership of production features, from clarifying requirements and writing specifications through implementation, testing, deployment and production support. Strong practical use of AI-assisted development tools is a core expectation.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience building and operating production software.
• Strong full-stack development experience, with practical experience in back-end and front-end engineering.
• Hands-on experience with at least one of the key technologies: PHP, React or Perl.
• React experience is preferred; Perl is useful but is not a strict requirement when the candidate can demonstrate strong engineering fundamentals and ability to learn/adapt.
• Demonstrated hands-on use of AI tools in day-to-day software development.
• Ability to understand, review and safely modify code written by others, including code in unfamiliar languages or systems.
• Strong testing mindset and experience validating production changes with automated tests.
• Experience supporting production systems, including on-call, incident response or post-incident improvement.
• Clear written and verbal communication in a remote/distributed environment.

Nice to Have:

• Strong React experience.
• Experience with PHP-based applications and/or Perl-based systems.
• Managed hosting, cloud platforms or high-availability service environments.
• Experience with modern AI coding assistants, agentic development workflows or automated code review.
• Experience with CI/CD, observability, monitoring and production troubleshooting.
