PHP Team Lead

Through our online auction platform, we offer over 20.000 vehicles per week, sourced from leading fleet owners, leasing and rental companies, as well as banks and dealerships. Over the last 3 years we have delivered a 50% YoY profitable growth, building a leading market position in Europe. Our platform continues to grow in scale and complexity, requiring strong technical leadership within the engineering team. 6+ years of hands-on experience in PHP development. 2+ years of team leadership experience Leadership qualities, including the ability to inspire and motivate team members, drive technical initiatives, and lead by example. Proficiencyin Docker for containerization and deployment of applications. Experience with implementing andoptimizingqueues for background processing of tasks. Solid understanding of scaling principles for backend systems and infrastructure. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a passion for writing clean, efficient code. Strong communicationand interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment. Proventrack recordof delivering high-quality software solutions on schedule and within budget. Experience with CI/CD principles and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar. Proficiencyin both English and Russian is mandatory. Lead a team ofdevelopers:plan their work,managetimelinesand ensure code quality, improvedevelopmentprocesses, mentor engineers. Manage technical debt across owned services,take ownership of technology decisions. Lead efforts tooptimizebackend performance, reliability, and scalability. Apply best practices and modern technologies to achieve these goals. Collaborate closely with stakeholders, product managers, frontend, ML developers and other teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions. Design, develop and enhance backend applications using PHP to supporteCarsTrade'sauction platform. Utilize Docker for containerization and orchestration, ensuring seamless deployment and scalability. Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, deployment, and delivery processes, ensuring rapid and reliable releases. Maintain a customer-centric approach, focusing on delivering value-added features and enhancements that meet the needs of our users.
