Physical Therapist

The Award Winning Speech Momi LLC, a staple in the therapeutic community, is growing its online Physical Therapy team. Under the direction and supervision of Speech Momi's Director, the Physical Therapist assists in supplementing, enhancing, and extending physical therapy services by completing a variety of tasks such as, but not limited to, direct activities with clients designed to assess and enhance mobility/range of joints, transfer status, stability, patterns and appearance of ambulation, strength and endurance of muscles, balance testing and safety measures. Duties and Responsibilities: Conducts physiological screenings, using screening protocols developed by the supervising Director; Provides direct assistance for vestibular strengthening and gait enhancement to students and adults; Follows and implements documented treatment plans while monitoring client progress; Assists other multidisciplinary teams during the peak of client reviews and intakes/assessments; Adapts or modifies instructional materials as determined by the targeted treatment objectives; Assists in maintaining client records, tallying data, preparing charts, records, graphs, and reports; Assists in sharing online multidisciplinary input with requesting families and medical practitioners; Implements behavior management programs as designed by certified ABA/Neuro staff; Attends online clinical team meetings on an as needed basis Education and Experience: Masters Degree from an Accredited Physical Therapy program Licenses and Certificates: Current registration with a Board of Physical Therapy Knowledge of: Physical therapy equipment, materials, and procedures; Strengthen training and treatment planning; Learning patterns in both children and adults; Behavior management techniques and strategies; Routine record keeping.
