Role Overview:

We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Resident Medical Specialist (MD/DO) to work on a part-time basis. The role involves working with research teams to evaluate and improve how AI systems handle clinical reasoning. Candidates will design evaluation methods to test AI performance on real medical problems where clinical expertise is critical.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with research teams to evaluate and improve AI systems’ clinical reasoning capabilities

• Design systematic evaluation frameworks for medical AI systems

• Create clinical scenarios that test AI reasoning and decision-making in medical contexts

• Build assessment methods that capture the nuances of clinical practice

• Identify gaps in AI medical knowledge and reasoning, collaborating with researchers to address them

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Licensed physician in active clinical practice in any specialty

• Experience with clinical decision-making and evidence-based medicine

• Strong analytical skills to assess AI model performance

• Interest in how AI can support and enhance clinical practice

• Ability to communicate complex medical concepts clearly
