Role Description This is a full-time remote Physiotherapist role focused on providing in-home and residential aged care physiotherapy services. The Physiotherapist will assess clients’ physical function, develop evidence-based treatment plans, and deliver interventions to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance independence. Daily responsibilities include conducting comprehensive assessments, implementing exercise and rehabilitation programs, educating clients and caregivers, and documenting clinical findings in line with professional standards. The role involves collaborating with other Allied Health professionals to ensure integrated, goal-oriented care and maintaining regular communication with referrers and care coordinators. The Physiotherapist is expected to manage a caseload efficiently, use telehealth where appropriate, and participate in continuous professional development.
Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy and current registration (or eligibility for registration) with the appropriate Australian regulatory body.
• Demonstrated experience in assessing and treating clients with musculoskeletal, neurological, and geriatric conditions in community or aged care settings.
• Strong clinical reasoning, care planning, and outcome-focused rehabilitation skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to educate clients, families, and caregivers in clear, accessible language.
• Ability to work independently in remote and home-based environments, manage time and caseloads, and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Comfort with using digital tools and electronic health records; experience with telehealth delivery is highly regarded.
• Commitment to person-centered care, cultural safety, and non-discriminatory practice when working with diverse client populations.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable access to transport for home and facility visits, where required.
• Current professional indemnity insurance and adherence to relevant ethical and legal standards in Allied Health practice.
