We are currently seeking a Piping 3D Modeler to join our Redtree LATAM team, supporting power generation projects for the U.S. market. This position is available to candidates based in Montevideo (Uruguay), Buenos Aires (Argentina), and Santiago (Chile) and follows a flexible hybrid work model.

Position Summary

Redtree Engineering is seeking a skilled Piping 3D Modeler to support the development and coordination of piping design models for large-scale power generation and industrial projects.

The ideal candidate will bring strong experience with piping modeling tools, a solid understanding of engineering documentation, and the ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams. This role will work closely with piping designers, engineers, and project teams to ensure models are accurate, coordinated, and aligned with project requirements.

As part of an international organization supporting U.S.-based projects, daily communication and technical documentation will be conducted in English.

You Will...

• Develop and maintain 3D piping models for power generation and industrial projects.

• Collaborate with engineering and design teams to support project execution and deliverables.

• Interpret and work from P&IDs, engineering drawings, and design documentation.

• Perform model coordination activities and support clash detection reviews.

• Ensure model quality, accuracy, and compliance with project standards.

• Participate in multidisciplinary design reviews and coordination meetings.

• Support the continuous improvement of modeling and coordination workflows.

If You Have...

• 3+ years of experience in piping 3D modeling.

• Advanced English level (required), including the ability to communicate effectively in meetings, prepare technical documentation, and collaborate daily with U.S.-based project teams.

• Experience supporting power generation, industrial plant, or similar projects.

• Strong proficiency with AutoCAD Plant 3D and Navisworks.

• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs and engineering drawings.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

• Ability to collaborate effectively within distributed and multidisciplinary teams.

• A technical background; an engineering degree is not required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on thermal power plants, combined-cycle facilities, or similar industrial projects.

• Knowledge of piping layouts, standards, and design practices.

• Experience with clash detection and model coordination processes.

• Previous experience supporting U.S.-based engineering projects.

• Experience working within hybrid or international engineering teams.
