This Planner will develop global assortment plans and manage demand forecast to ensure proper inventory flow and management of merchandise to meet sales objectives. This role is a hybrid position, requiring you to be onsite Monday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Fridays. Who You Are: Develop global assortment plans and set sku targets and manage sku counts Build and manage annual, quarterly, monthly sales forecast by product category Coordinate with sales, marketing, finance and merchandising to develop forecast bottoms up/tops down Forecast demand shipments monthly by sku Assist in managing key metrics (sales, returns, markdowns/on order and margins) Work closely and communicate with Brand team and Product team to assist in the selection/planning process of product/merchandise on a SKU level Assist in determining liquidated product and exit strategy for stock Work with Supply planners to ensure proper flow and delivery of merchandise Build and maintain various reports to assist in meeting sales objectives Ad hoc special projects as needed Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Retail Merchandising or equivalent work experience required 3+ years’ experience in planning or buying Experience in wholesale planning with watch/jewelry category is a plus Driven and takes initiative Self-managing and proven success in planning, buying or allocation Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills Inquisitive and eager to learn Attention to detail Analytical skills Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Enterprise products SAP knowledge preferred What We Offer: Comprehensive Benefits: Includes health and well-being services Retirement Planning: 401(k) match and educational resources Paid Parental Leave & Return to Work Program: Support for new parents and caregivers Generous Paid Time Off: Floating Holidays, Sick Time, Personal Days, Summer Flex Fridays Work Flexibility: Hybrid schedule plus “Work-From-Anywhere” options Tuition Reimbursement: Support for approved educational programs At Fossil Group , we embrace purpose and take every opportunity to work together to make the world a little better.
