The role: We have big growth plans and are looking for people with the enthusiasm to come and be part of this journey! We are looking to appoint a Planning Director to play a key part in the growth strategy of our Birmingham office , developing and delivering opportunities and further building on our success to date. As a Planning Director in Marrons, we can offer you the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects, including identifying new development opportunities and delivering major mixed-use urban extensions across the UK. You will be working with national house builders, land promoters, and landowners and become a key part of the Marrons leadership team. Key duties will include: advising on development potential of land and buildings assisting with preparing planning applications and appeals providing policy advice and research drafting representations to plan consultations and examinations assisting in identify land opportunities working with clients and other consultants to deliver development supporting business development activities Skills, Knowledge and Expertise A degree in town planning or a related field, and significant relevant experience in a planning consultancy A strong understanding of UK planning policies and regulations, and experience in preparing and submitting planning applications and appeals. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to lead a team effectively A track record of delivering high-quality work to tight deadlines, and a strong commitment to client satisfaction.
