Who we are looking for
We are looking for a curious and motivated platform engineer at the beginning of their career, with an interest in cloud infrastructure, observability and AI.
You have a good technical foundation, strong drive and the potential to grow quickly, and enjoy understanding how things work. You are not expected to have experience in all the areas below. You will work alongside experienced engineers and with teams across research, development, and operations. You enjoy helping others and making technology easier to use. As you gain experience, you will take on more responsibility for the platforms and infrastructure we build.
We also place great importance on personal qualities. We look for people who share our core values: professionalism, humility, generosity and curiosity. For this role, we particularly value curiosity, initiative and a genuine interest in technology.
Required:
· Programming skills in Python or similar
· Good understanding of software engineering fundamentals
· Hands-on experience with AI tools such as Claude Code or Codex
· Interest in cloud infrastructure and AI
Meriting (experience/familiarity with):
· AWS or another cloud platform
· Kubernetes and infrastructure as code
· CI/CD, monitoring and observability
· LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Anthropic or AWS Bedrock
· RAG, embeddings, tool calling, MCP or agentic applications
You are fluent in English and have the right to work in Sweden. The position is based at our office in central Stockholm.
About the role
As a Platform Engineer at Lynx, you will help develop and maintain the technology platforms that support our quantitative investment research, development and operations.
The role is broad, spanning AWS, observability and AI, with a particular focus on our AI platform. We are building common infrastructure that enables teams to develop and run AI applications, from early experiments to production. This includes LLM access, agent runtimes, MCP servers, evaluations, guardrails and observability, as well as data infrastructure for AI use cases such as RAG and embeddings.
You will also work with our AWS environment, including Kubernetes, IAM, infrastructure as code, networking and security as well as observability tools that help teams monitor and understand our systems in production.
An important part of the role is working with and supporting other teams, helping them use the platforms and tools we provide, solve problems together and improve the platform based on what they need.
You won't be expected to know all of this from day one. We are looking for someone who wants to learn, take on more responsibility over time and work across different parts of our technology stack.

When applying, we'd also like to hear briefly about a project you've built or worked on that you found interesting. It could be a personal project, something from your studies or something you've done at work. It doesn't need to be large or polished. We're simply curious about what you chose to build and why.
