Platform Engineer

Outpost24 is hiring a Platform Engineer to join our growing team in Stockholm, Sweden!

Are you passionate about building reliable, scalable cloud infrastructure and keeping critical services running at their best?

As a Platform Engineer, you'll work in a global, autonomous team responsible for the continuous delivery and improvement of our market-leading platform. Collaborating closely with Development, QA, Product Services, Support, and fellow Platform Engineers, you'll play a key role in building, operating, and evolving systems that are used in production every day. Your ideas and expertise will directly influence how our platform grows and scales in the years ahead.

As a Platform Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:

• Deploying, supporting, and managing platform releases.

• Automating and continuously improving our CI/CD and delivery processes.

• Ensuring platform availability, reliability, and performance.

• Monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving issues across production environments.

• Maintaining and enhancing security best practices across the platform.

• Working closely with Development, QA, Product Services, and Support teams.

• Driving continuous improvements to our platform, tooling, and operational processes.

What makes you our ideal candidate?

Experience:

• You have 3+ years of experience as a Software Developer, Platform Engineer, or similar role in a CI/CD and DevOps-driven environment.

• Hands-on experience with Azure and/or AWS cloud platforms.

• Experience working with business-critical production systems.

• Experience designing, automating, and improving workflows and operational processes.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

Required technical skills

• Scripting and automation, preferably using PowerShell.

• Continuous delivery and deployment tools such as Azure DevOps, Octopus Deploy, or similar.

• Application and infrastructure monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting.

• Database technologies, particularly Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB, and Elasticsearch.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Nice to have:

• C#/.NET development.

• Observability tools and practices.

• Container technologies (e.g., Docker).

• Linux administration.

• Windows Server and Active Directory administration.

• Networking fundamentals.

• Virtualization technologies.
