About Andes Workforce
At Andes Workforce, we connect top Latin American talent with fast-growing U.S. companies. We help professionals build international careers from home, with long-term roles, direct work with U.S. teams, and a team that supports you every step of the way.
About our client
Our client is a U.S. legal technology company that builds and runs the software successful plaintiff law firms use every day:
- Document management platform with AI-assisted document analysis: React, Django, Postgres, Celery, a knowledge graph per matter, and integrations with Microsoft 365, S3 and several LLM providers.
- Client check-in mobile app: users log symptoms from their phone (React Native, App Store and Google Play), and staff manage questionnaires and results from a web admin site. Kotlin/Ktor API, Postgres, AWS.
- Custom Salesforce case-management app: intake, matters, medical records, negotiations and settlements, one org per firm. Apex, LWC, Flow and custom objects.
Much of this code is written with AI coding agents, and that will continue. Theyโre looking for the one engineer who owns it all: someone who reviews what the agents produce, fixes what breaks, ships clean releases, and speaks up when a request doesnโt make sense.
๐ง What youโll do
- Keep three production systems healthy: monitor, catch failed jobs and integration errors early, and handle incidents calmly.
- Be first- and last-line technical support: triage, reproduce, fix the root cause and close the loop with users.
- Review and correct AI-generated code before it ships. Youโre the judgment layer.
- Run releases (staging to production, Salesforce sandbox to production, app store releases) with change notes and rollbacks.
- Build and maintain features across the stack: Django/React, Kotlin/React Native, and Apex/LWC/Flow.
- Keep integrations running between Salesforce, document management and Microsoft Graph (Outlook, SharePoint).
- Onboard new law firms onto the platform without breaking existing ones.
- Supervise the existing customer support staff and work directly with attorneys, paralegals and intake teams.
โ What weโre looking for
- 5+ years of engineering experience, including real ownership of a production web app used by paying customers: deploys, backups, monitoring and incidents.
- Professional experience in Python/Django or Kotlin/Java, and the ability to pick up the other. Solid React; React Native and app store releases are a plus.
- Daily use of AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex or similar).
- Salesforce development: Apex, LWC, Flow, custom objects, sharing model, DX/CLI deployments. Certification is a plus.
- Integrations: REST APIs, OAuth 2.0, Named Credentials. Microsoft Graph strongly preferred.
- Patience with non-technical users, precise diagnosis and self-direction. No PM feeding you tickets.
- Fluent spoken and written English and substantial overlap with U.S. Eastern business hours.
- Nice to have: multi-tenant experience, legal industry tools (Litify, Clio, Filevine), Microsoft 365 / Entra administration.
๐ Why youโll love it
- 100% remote, full-time, long-term role.
- Direct access to the decision-maker: fast feedback, no bureaucracy.
- Small, senior, high-trust team where judgment beats process.
- AI tools provided and encouraged.
- A growing roadmap: intake automation, AI-assisted document workflows and new firms joining the platform.
