Platform Engineer, Edge & Systems
Our AI analyses real production lines through cameras and edge devices in customer factories. We’re looking for a Platform Engineer who understands how systems work underneath, from the OS and network up to the cloud, and who will own the software on our growing device fleet and the infrastructure that runs it.
What you'll do
Own the software on our edge fleet once a device is online: components, configuration, and OS, kernel and GPU driver updates.
Build the release path to devices: CI/CD, canary, staged rollouts and rollback over unreliable factory networks.
Run fleet monitoring and alerting that catches failing devices and cameras before customers notice; decide whether a fault is software or hardware.
Debug hard problems across the stack (processes, memory, disk, network, GPU) and fix root causes, not symptoms.
Own our cloud infrastructure in Terraform, including the central systems we use to manage the edge fleet (AWS).
Work closely with our Installations team, who set up devices and networks on site.
You are
8-10 years in platform, infrastructure, SRE or systems roles.
Strong OS fundamentals: processes, memory, file systems, boot, services. You can debug a Linux machine from the shell.
Solid networking: TCP/IP, DNS, routing, VPN, firewalls.
Experienced with automation and infrastructure as code (Terraform a must, Ansible or similar) and CI/CD. Comfortable with containers and AWS.
Methodical and curious: you want to know why something broke, not just make it work again.
Nice to have
Have run a fleet of remote, on-prem or edge machines (IoT, retail, telecom).
AWS IoT Greengrass or similar device management.
NVIDIA GPUs or Jetson: drivers, CUDA.
Unattended installs or OS images (PXE, cloud-init, ...).
Kubernetes in production.
Video, camera or ML inference workloads.
Why this role matters
You'll keep our systems running smoothly and help the team ship with confidence. And if you're curious about ML, you'll get real exposure to production AI systems.
