Platform Engineer – Remote

Holistic AI builds AI governance and assurance software for enterprise customers. Our platform helps organisations inventory, test and govern their AI systems, and align them with frameworks such as the EU AI Act and NIST AI RMF.

You'll join the engineering team that builds and runs the platform end to end, from the web app and APIs to the AI agents and the cloud it runs on. You'll own your work from ticket to production and ship to customers every week.

What you'll do

• Build product features end to end: data model, typed APIs, business logic and React screens
• Build LLM-powered features and agents: prompts, tool calls, structured outputs and evaluation
• Build integrations with the enterprise systems our customers use
• Run multi-tenant cloud environments with infrastructure as code, including releases, patches and upgrades
• Keep production healthy: monitor, investigate incidents and fix the root cause
• Review pull requests and write short design notes before larger changes

What you'll bring

• 4+ years building and running production web software, with strong TypeScript across Node.js and React
• PostgreSQL data modelling and migrations, ideally through an ORM such as Drizzle or Prisma
• Cloud experience, preferably AWS (serverless, containers, queues), and infrastructure as code (SST, Pulumi, CDK or Terraform)
• Hands-on experience building with LLM APIs, plus CI/CD, automated testing and secure multi-tenant SaaS
• Fluent written and spoken English; Portuguese or Spanish is a plus

Nice to have

• Python, and experience building or evaluating AI agents
• Identity integrations such as SSO, SAML, OIDC or directory sync
• Experience in regulated industries or with AI regulation such as the EU AI Act

• Remote, based in Brazil (preferred)
• Daily overlap with UK working hours
