Job Description: Position Overview: As the Platform & Events Lead, you will manage our event programming, ensuring top-tier experiences for attendees. This role requires a detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated individual who excels with high-profile clientele. You will work directly with LPs and portfolio CEOs, focusing on building relevant communities and events. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and execute event strategies. - Plan and manage events, including conferences, cocktail parties, and offsites. - Build and maintain relationships with founders, investors, and key figures. - Provide personalized service and handle sensitive information. - Work with marketing and communications teams to promote events. - Coordinate with vendors, speakers, and partners. - Oversee event logistics and manage budgets. - Continuously improve event processes and stay informed about industry trends. Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, or related field. - Experience in planning and executing high-profile events. - Exceptional organizational and communication skills. - Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. - Self-motivated and proactive problem-solver. - Familiar with VC and startup landscapes; reads up on startups for fun. - Proficiency in event management software. - Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
