🧑💻 About the role
Integrations Product Manager – Nextlane Platform. Reports to the Director of Platform Product.
Nextlane operates several software systems for dealerships and manufacturers across Europe. The Nextlane Platform is the layer that connects these systems with each other and with the wider automotive ecosystem.
The Integrations Product Manager owns the OEM integration layer of this platform. The role defines its roadmap in line with Nextlane's strategy, makes sure new integrations are delivered on stable, well-documented interfaces, and is accountable for their adoption.
The position requires a good understanding of APIs and system integration combined with solid product management practice. Knowledge of the automotive business or of a DMS is a strong asset. The role works with people from several countries and departments and may require occasional travel in Europe.
⚙️Your responsibilities
Product activities
• Product roadmap: in collaboration with the Director of Platform Product and according to Nextlane's strategy, define goals and manage the roadmap of the OEM integration layer.
• Own the OEM integration layer: its interfaces and the onboarding of new OEM integrations. Collaborate with the platform product and architecture teams on the platform interfaces the integrations depend on.
• Capture requirements through dialogue with customers, OEMs and partners; monitor market practices and upcoming legal requirements affecting data exchange and share insights with colleagues.
• Validate requirements (Epics and Features) and acceptance criteria provided by the analysts and architects of the team.
• Manage the backlog and priorities so that the team builds a healthy mix of new integrations, efficiencies and maintenance; participate in workload estimates, prioritize each iteration and share the product vision quarterly.
• Define and follow adoption and quality metrics for the integrations in scope and use them to drive iteration.
• Delivery approval of the finished solution; manage the pilot phase of each main release and, with Professional Services and Customer Support, the rollout to existing integrations and the prioritization of bug tickets against SLA.
• Can participate in pre-sales presentations and quotations for integration and API offers (with Sales and XS teams).
• Coordinate the analysts and architects assigned to the scope, without line management, and guarantee the SDLC process (product side).
Main interfaces with other teams / departments
• Development and architecture teams, Product teams, OEMs and partners, Professional Services and Customer Support, Sales and Marketing.
🎯 What we're looking for
✅Required
• 5–8+ years of product management experience in B2B SaaS, platform or integration products.
• Proven ownership of API or integration products end to end (discovery → delivery → adoption), including contract design, versioning and deprecation, ideally with experience migrating legacy integrations to a modern integration platform.
• Strong technical collaboration: REST/OpenAPI, event-driven flows, data mapping between systems, authentication and authorization patterns; able to read a payload and challenge a design.
• Data-informed practice (metrics definition, outcome tracking) and the ability to translate OEM or regulatory requirements into product requirements.
• Demonstrated alignment of Product, Engineering, Sales and partners; able to influence without authority, coordinate analysts and architects in a matrix setting, and communicate trade-offs clearly.
• Strong written and spoken English; strong redaction skills to explain requirements, data flows and business workflows.
🤝 Nice to have
• Experience with a DMS, dealer or OEM systems, or automotive data exchange (OEM interfaces, aftermarket, mobility).
• Hands-on use of AI in product workflows (prompting patterns, evaluation, guardrails, automation).
• Fluency in French; Spanish or German is a plus.
📈Success in this role (first 12 months)
• An OEM integration roadmap exists, is aligned with manufacturers, partners and internal product teams, and is reviewed quarterly.
• New OEM and partner integrations are delivered predictably, on documented and stable interfaces, with a clear onboarding path for each.
• The first OEM integrations are migrated to the new integration platform on the agreed plan.
• Adoption, success-rate and support metrics are in place for the OEM integration layer and drive its prioritization.
