What you will do:
The Role's Key Responsibilities and Tasks

We are looking for a Technical Lead who combines strong technical expertise with leadership capabilities. Someone passionate about modern infrastructure, automation and engineering excellence, while being able to inspire a team, drive execution and continuously improve the way Corporate Technology services are delivered. The successful candidate will lead the BestIaaS team, ensuring the reliability, scalability and evolution of our corporate infrastructure while acting as a key technical partner for SDOPS, Platform and the rest of GITOPS.

The Challenge & Your Impact: The core of this role is leading a transformation and building a high-performance culture. We are looking for a "Culture Architect" who can raise the bar, address underperformance with transparency, and ensure the team—the 'face of IT'—takes pride in setting and meeting clear standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Infrastructure Strategy & Engineering

• Own the technical roadmap for Corporate Infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability and security.
• Lead the design, implementation and continuous evolution of infrastructure platforms and core corporate services.
• Promote engineering best practices, standardization and automation across the infrastructure ecosystem.

Operational Excellence

• Ensure the availability, stability and performance of infrastructure services.
• Drive continuous service improvements through proactive problem management and operational excellence.
• Lead major technical incidents and coordinate complex troubleshooting activities when required.
  

Automation & Innovation

• Continuously identify opportunities to automate infrastructure operations and reduce manual effort.
• Promote Infrastructure as Code, self-service capabilities and AI-driven operational improvements.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and drive innovation across the infrastructure landscape.
  

Technical Leadership

• Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing team of infrastructure engineers.
• Foster ownership, accountability, collaboration and technical excellence.
• Support the growth of future technical leaders within the team through coaching and mentoring.

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Act as the technical bridge between SDOPS, Platform and other GITOPS teams.
• Collaborate closely with architecture, security, networking and engineering teams to ensure technical alignment.
• Contribute to cross-team initiatives, governance forums and technical decision-making.

Business Enablement

• Translate business and operational needs into robust technical solutions.
• Ensure infrastructure services enable business growth while maintaining operational stability.
• Help improve the employee technology experience through reliable and modern infrastructure services.

• Strategic Toolkit: 5+ years in a leadership role within IT Operations or Service Management.
• Team Builder: Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing, cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
• Strong Communication Skills: Excellent ability to articulate complex operational strategies and results to technical and non-technical stakeholders across all organizational levels.
• Proven Leader: Experience with budget management and driving improvement in fast-paced digital environments.
• Data-Fluent: Exceptionally strong analytically, comfortable finding the “so what” behind data.
• Drive & Accountability: Demonstrates a high level of responsibility and determination to achieve ambitious operational and strategic objectives.
• Language: Fluent English level.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Applied AI Tools: Demonstrated comfort using practical AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or other AI-powered coding assistants.
• Experimentation Mindset: Curiosity and eagerness to explore, experiment with, and integrate emerging AI-driven solutions into software development workflows.
• AI-Enhanced Problem Solving: Ability to effectively leverage AI tools to debug code, streamline development processes, and enhance productivity.
  
• Adaptability and Learning Agility: Enthusiastic about continuously learning and quickly adapting to new AI features and capabilities.
• Collaboration with AI: Experience or interest in collaborating closely with AI tools as “pair programmers” to complement traditional software development practices.
