About the role
As the Platform Operations and Delivery Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the reliable day-to-day operation and ongoing improvements of Informit’s digital platform.
Working closely with the Head of Platform, internal teams and external technology partners, you’ll coordinate business requirements, testing, release activities, operational monitoring, incident management, content loading and service improvements. Additionally in this role You’ll also support complex customer onboarding and troubleshooting, working across teams to resolve platform, content, access and integration issues. A key part of the role is building strong relationships with vendors and stakeholders, maintaining effective operational processes and documentation, and identifying opportunities to improve the reliability, quality and customer experience of the platform.
This is an opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the continued development of Informit and its role in connecting researchers, educators, libraries and communities with Australasian scholarly content.
About You
You’re a proactive and adaptable technology professional who enjoys working across people, platforms and processes. You’re comfortable coordinating complex operational and delivery activities, working with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and bringing structure to issues that require investigation, collaboration and follow-through.
You’ll bring:
- Experience coordinating technology, platform or digital service operations, including incident management, testing, releases or service improvement.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build effective relationships with internal teams, vendors and external partners.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the confidence to explain technical issues and requirements to a range of audiences.
- Strong project and change management capability, with the ability to balance time, cost, quality and business outcomes.
- Advanced digital and technology literacy, with the ability to navigate complex systems and interpret technical information.
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach, with the ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and know when to escalate issues.
- A commitment to continuous improvement and identifying ways to strengthen operational processes, service quality and customer experience.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Information Management, Publishing or a related discipline.
- Experience working with digital products or platforms, particularly within the information services or publishing sectors, will be highly regarded.
