PMO Analyst with SAP Expertise

Position Description

CGI is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented PMO Analyst with SAP Expertise to support a major IS/IT transformation program. The successful candidate will play a key role in project governance, planning, reporting, and financial management, ensuring effective monitoring of project performance, budgets, risks, and vendor-related activities.

Your future duties and responsibilities

• Support the governance and day-to-day management of the IS/IT project stream.
• Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, and progress tracking tools.
• Monitor project performance and provide visibility on delivery status.
• Identify, track, and escalate project risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Prepare and consolidate weekly and monthly project reports for management and Vendor & Cost Control teams.
• Ensure adherence to project methodologies, governance frameworks, and internal processes.
• Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to support project delivery objectives.
• Maintain and update financial information within SAP, including commitments, purchase orders, and actual expenditures.
• Monitor project budgets, actual costs, forecasts, and remaining expenditures.
• Perform financial variance analysis and identify budget deviations.
• Prepare and maintain Estimate at Completion (EAC) forecasts in collaboration with project leaders and financial stakeholders.
• Manage Acceptance and Invoicing Certificates (PVA), including milestone tracking, validation, approval workflow, and documentation management.
• Support contract administration activities, including purchase orders, amendments, renewals, and supplier engagement tracking.
• Ensure accurate financial reporting and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
  
  

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

• 2-3 years of experience in a PMO, Project Controls, Project Analyst, or Financial PMO role.
• Experience supporting complex transformation, IT, digital, ERP, or business change programs.
• Strong proficiency in SAP for financial tracking and project cost management.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills;
• Solid understanding of project financial management concepts.
• Experience preparing executive-level reporting and project dashboards.
