The Opportunity The PMO Business Application Specialist is responsible for providing day-to-day support and administration of business applications, primarily NetSuite. The role involves managing support requests, maintaining system data integrity, supporting project and billing processes, user access management, reporting, timesheet administration, and assisting business stakeholders with application-related queries and process improvements. The successful candidate will work closely with PMO, Finance, Operations, Sales, HR, and Delivery teams to ensure business applications are maintained accurately, business processes are supported effectively, and service levels are consistently achieved. The Specifics: NetSuite Administration & Support: Manage user access, roles, permissions, and employee lifecycle administration. Support project administration, including setup, maintenance, and closure. Maintain billing, pricing, labour costs, and business master data. Support resource allocation, work calendars, and NetSuite administration. Ensure data integrity through validation, reporting, and dashboard maintenance. Jira Administration & Support: Provide Jira user support and issue resolution where required. Support PMO governance and maintain Confluence documentation. Reporting & Data Management: Produce and maintain operational reports, dashboards, and management reporting. Support reporting requests, data analysis, and KPI tracking. Ensure data quality through validation, governance, and continuous improvement. Timesheet & Process Administration: Support timesheet administration, including investigations, approvals, corrections, transfers, and bulk updates. Ensure process compliance, governance, and audit requirements. Skills & Experience Must have: Experience supporting ERP systems, preferably NetSuite. Experience with Jira or Jira Service Management is desirable. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills. Experience in user administration, data maintenance, and business process support. Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail. Good to have Experience in PMO, project administration, finance, or business operations support. Knowledge of billing, project accounting, timesheets, and resource management. Experience with Confluence, reporting tools, or ITIL/service management practices. Experience in supporting professional services or project-based organisations. Key Success Measures Timely resolution of support requests within agreed SLAs. High data accuracy, system integrity, and stakeholder satisfaction. Compliance with governance, audit, and operational standards. What we're looking for (you don’t need to be a guru at all, we’re looking forward to coaching and collaborating with you): Experience: 5-7 years •5–7 years' experience independently managing complex business application support activities and critical support requests across NetSuite and related systems. • Acts as the primary escalation point for complex issues, investigations, and business-critical processes. • Takes ownership of high-priority incidents, service requests, system administration, and operational support activities. • Works directly with business stakeholders to understand requirements, provide solutions, and ensure effective service delivery. • Provides mentoring, knowledge sharing, and guidance to team members while remaining actively involved in day-to-day support activities. • Identifies and drives process improvements, automation opportunities, and operational efficiencies. • Supports governance, reporting, performance management, and continuous improvement initiatives. • Contributes to system enhancements, testing, documentation, and implementation activities as required.
