About the role: If you enjoy bringing structure, visibility and momentum to projects, this could be a great opportunity to join our Innovation PMO. As PMO Coordinator, you’ll help keep projects moving, ensure teams have the information they need, and support consistent ways of working across our innovation portfolio. Based in Auckland, this is a 12-month fixed-term opportunity providing maternity leave cover , reporting to the Innovation PMO Manager. You’ll work across a range of innovation initiatives, partnering with project teams and stakeholders across the business while building your capability across project management, governance, reporting and continuous improvement. More specifically, you will be involved in: Coordinating PMO activities, including project status updates, action logs, risk and issue registers, governance documentation and portfolio reporting. Collecting, analysing and maintaining project and portfolio data, using tools such as Excel and Power BI to provide clear and accurate reporting. Supporting project teams to follow PMO governance, project management standards, processes and ways of working. Maintaining and continuously improving PMO systems, templates, workflows, SharePoint and knowledge management resources. Coordinating smaller projects and continuous improvement initiatives, including planning, stakeholder engagement, tracking actions, risks, issues and project milestones. Supporting the PMO community through forums, communications, training materials and knowledge-sharing initiatives. Identifying opportunities to improve project processes, reporting, systems and ways of working across the PMO. About you: You are organised, proactive and detail-oriented, with an interest in building your career in project management and PMO. You enjoy bringing structure to information, keeping things moving and working with a range of stakeholders. You will bring: 2+ years' experience in project coordination, project support, PMO, administration or a similar role. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines and competing requirements. Experience coordinating meetings, actions, documentation, reporting and project information. Strong attention to detail, with a focus on data accuracy, documentation and governance. Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Power BI, SharePoint and Teams. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to work with stakeholders across different business functions. A collaborative and team-focused approach, with the ability to build strong working relationships. A formal project management qualification would be advantageous but is not essential.
