🔎 We are looking for a PnL Controller

Main Tasks

• Produce and validate daily and/or monthly Economic P&L figures and related P&L explanations.
• Investigate P&L discrepancies with Front Office forecasts and analyse market movements, new deals and other relevant effects.
• Review P&L Explain in detail and correct misallocations when no technical solution is available.
• Analyse Risk-based Market P&L and investigate differences against P&L Explain, ensuring gaps are understood and documented.
• Review the split of Economic P&L into liquidity and interest rate effects for ALMT perimeters.
• Perform hedge accounting controls for Finance and Front Office, where applicable.
• Submit P&L figures to Front Office for sign-off.
• Identify opportunities to improve existing processes and maintain effective collaboration with Front Office and support teams, including Back Office, Market Risk, Finance and IT.

Main Skills & Requirements

• Financial Markets Knowledge: Basic understanding of financial markets and related products.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical ability to investigate discrepancies, identify root causes and interpret P&L variations.
• Attention to Detail: Accuracy and rigor in P&L production, validation and reporting.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to challenge existing processes, identify solutions and drive continuous improvement.
• Client Focus: Ability to understand business needs and provide effective support to Front Office and other stakeholders.
• Communication & Teamwork: Ability to build effective working relationships with Front Office and support functions.
• Ethics & Professionalism: Maintain high standards of integrity, accountability and professionalism.
• Fluent English (minimum C1), written and spoken.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, particularly in multicultural/global teams.

• This role offers a gross annual salary between 15.000€ to 24.500€, defined according to the candidate’s experience and competencies.
