About the Role316 Africa is seeking a skilled Podcast Mixing & Mastering Engineer responsible for ensuring podcasts meet professional audio standards for distribution across streaming and digital platforms.
The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of sound engineering, voice clarity optimization, noise reduction, and podcast mastering techniques.
Key Responsibilities- Mix and master podcast audio to professional industry standards.
- Balance voice levels across multiple speakers and audio tracks.
- Remove background noise, echoes, distortions, and inconsistencies.
- Apply equalization, compression, and sound enhancement techniques.
- Ensure audio meets loudness standards for platforms such as Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and YouTube.
- Deliver clean, high-quality final audio files.
Requirements- Proven experience in podcast or audio engineering.
- Proficiency in tools such as:
- Adobe Audition
- Pro Tools
- Logic Pro
- Audacity
- iZotope RX
- Strong understanding of audio processing and mastering workflows.
- Attention to detail and commitment to sound quality.
