Poker Business Development Manager — Clubs & Agents
Location: Fully remote — global opportunity
Market focus: South America and Asia
Package: Competitive base salary plus performance-based commission linked to revenue generated
Our client is a growing online poker business looking for a commercially driven Business Development Manager to build partnerships with poker club owners, hosts, agents and unions.
This opportunity will suit someone who understands how private poker communities operate and can turn industry relationships into new business. You’ll approach prospective partners, negotiate commercial agreements and support them in bringing their communities onto the platform.
Our client is particularly interested in candidates with strong networks in South America and Asian poker markets. Expertise in one relevant market is valuable; experience across both is not essential.
The opportunity
Club and agent partnerships will be a core part of our client’s growth strategy. You’ll take ownership of developing this channel, identifying the right partners and building a compelling commercial case for working together.
You may already work in poker business development, manage an agent network or run a club yourself. What matters is your ability to win partnerships, develop relationships beyond your existing contacts and demonstrate the revenue your work generates.
What you’ll do
- Identify, approach and sign poker club owners, hosts, agents, master agents and union contacts across your target markets.
- Build a pipeline through existing relationships, referrals and proactive outreach.
- Develop opportunities within club ecosystems using platforms such as ClubGG, PPPoker, PokerBros and X-Poker.
- Understand each partner’s player community, game preferences and commercial priorities.
- Present the platform’s proposition and negotiate revenue-share, rake-split and other appropriate partnership arrangements.
- Coordinate partner onboarding and agreed migration activity, helping hosts and agents introduce their communities to the platform.
- Support partners in launching games, developing player activity and building lasting engagement.
- Grow accounts by identifying opportunities to introduce additional clubs, agents and player communities.
- Monitor active players, retention, rake and net gaming revenue to assess partnership performance.
- Maintain accurate records of prospects, agreements, forecasts and commercial results.
- Share partner feedback and regional insight to help improve the proposition.
What you’ll bring
- At least two years’ experience in iGaming, ideally within poker business development, club operations or agent network management.
- A practical understanding of how poker clubs, unions, hosts and agent networks operate.
- Experience winning new business and negotiating commercial relationships.
- Strong connections within Brazil or one or more Asian poker markets.
- Confidence discussing rake, rakeback, revenue splits, partner incentives and player value.
- The ability to distinguish headline membership numbers from active, revenue-generating player communities.
- Strong relationship-building skills and credibility with club owners and agents.
- A proactive, organised approach, with the confidence to manage sales opportunities independently.
- The ability to use commercial data to assess results and identify growth opportunities.
An existing network of club owners, agents or players would be a significant advantage. Portuguese language skills are particularly relevant for Brazil-focused candidates; appropriate local language skills are valuable for Asian markets.
We welcome applications from commercially active club owners and master agents interested in moving into an employed business development role, as well as candidates already working for poker platforms.
What success looks like
You’ll sign productive club and agent partnerships, help those partners establish activity on the platform and grow their commercial contribution over time.
We’d like to understand the relationships you have personally developed, the size and activity of the communities you work with, and the revenue you have helped generate.
What’s on offer
- A competitive base salary.
- Performance-based commission linked to revenue generated.
- A fully remote opportunity open to candidates globally.
- Ownership of an important partnership channel.
- Scope to help shape the club and agent network across your target markets.
