Le'Fant is seeking a junior or mid-level career Data Analyst to support policy, regulatory, legislative, and program research and analysis and assist with development of recommendations, decision papers, reports, briefings, and other program products for a federal mission that is focused on healthcare, benefits, and support programs for service members. This role is contingent upon contract award, but we are connecting with qualified candidates now to support potential program startup if the contract is awarded. Let's talk!

What You'll Do:

• Conduct policy, regulatory, legislative, and program research and analysis.
• Assess policy and operational impacts.
• Support development of courses of action (COAs) and recommendations.
• Develop decision papers, Policy and Legal Reviews (PLRs), staffing packages, reports, briefings, and responses.
• Support DES Quality Assurance Program (QAP) activities.
• Support Disability Annual Report and Inspector General reporting requirements.
• Support Compensation and Benefits Handbook activities.
• Support scientific studies and initiatives.
• Support training requirements.
• Support communications and outreach activities involving policy content.
• Support business rules and case-policy requirements.
• Support SCAADL-related policy requirements.

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• All work must be performed within the United States.
• Must be able to successfully complete and maintain the background investigation and suitability requirements applicable to the position, including the ability to obtain a Public Trust determination if required.

Qualifications

• Junior- to mid-level professional experience in policy analysis, research, program analysis, healthcare, disability programs, federal programs, or a related field.
• Ability to research and interpret policies, regulations, guidance, and program requirements.
• Strong analytical, research, writing, and communication skills.
• Ability to develop professional reports, briefings, and written analytical products.
• Federal Government, DoD, VA, healthcare, or disability-program experience is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Pay Transparency

There are many factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. Annual salary is just one component of Le'fant's total compensation package. Le'fant provides a variety of benefits to employees, including but not limited to, health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a 401k plan, paid holidays and paid time off. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience. An applicant's salary history will not be used in determining compensation. A reasonable estimate of the current annual salary range is $70,000 to $90,000.00
