IAWAI brings Hamilton City and Waikato District Councils together as a single regional water provider.

Some people are at their best when there are multiple deadlines, plenty of moving parts and a team that relies on them to bring order to it all.
If that sounds like you, this could be a great next step.
As Portfolio Administrator, you’ll be at the heart of IAWAI’s Portfolio Office. You’ll coordinate the recurring rhythms that keep the office working effectively, from reporting deadlines and governance meetings to action tracking, document control. Our team provides the tools to support and govern a portfolio of projects worth around $300 million every year.
This could suit an experienced administrator who wants to step into a proactive role making the most of strong coordination, organisation and communication skills.
You’ll need to be comfortable following things through, keeping accurate records, managing competing priorities and politely making sure people deliver what they said they would. Strong Microsoft 365 skills and around 3 to 5 years’ relevant administration experience will give you a good foundation.
