About The Role
A Portfolio Analyst at Namaa Partners works on paid-click demand, which for our clients means understanding what they actually spend across search, shopping and paid social, what that spend buys, and where the return is thin or unclear. You carry the analysis from the raw platform exports through to the number a board or a management team will be asked to defend.
This is a hands-on seat. You will own the models, the reconciliation and the written view on portfolio performance, and you will be in the room when clients challenge it. The work sits inside our performance improvement and digital strategy mandates, often for family groups and holding companies running several brands at once.
About Namaa Partners
Namaa Partners is a strategy advisory firm working mostly with organizations in Saudi Arabia and with companies that have significant interests there. We advise family groups and their holding companies, listed corporations, private equity portfolio companies, banks and insurers, government entities and industrial operators. Mandates are scoped by the principals who then deliver them, which keeps the analysis close to the decision it is meant to inform. The work covers corporate strategy, growth and market entry, operating model and efficiency, organization and talent, digital strategy, performance improvement, and governance and risk.
What You Will Do
In the first six to twelve months, a good mandate is one where the client stops arguing about whose dashboard is right and starts making decisions. You would have run at least one paid demand review end to end, from scoping the questions with the principal to presenting the findings to a management committee. The client's finance and marketing leads should be able to say afterwards that the spend picture is now one they trust and can maintain without us. Success also means the principals can hand you a messy portfolio question and expect a defensible answer back.
How Decisions Get Made
Principals scope the mandate, set the questions worth answering, and decide who staffs the work. As the analyst on a paid demand engagement, you own the analysis and the first draft of the view; the principal signs off on what goes to the client. When the data does not settle a question, you say so early rather than presenting a range that hides it. Your judgment enters the room because you are expected to bring a position, and to defend or change it when the evidence moves. Escalation is direct: a conversation with the principal leading the mandate, not a chain of approvals.
What The Role Offers
This is a permanent, full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on a hybrid arrangement. You will work across mandates rather than within one account, so the exposure runs from family groups and their holding companies through to banks, insurers and government entities. You will see how a recommendation becomes a decision at board level, and what happens to it afterwards. You will also have direct access to the principals doing the scoping, which means your questions get answered by the people who set the brief.
How We Work
We take on a small number of mandates and staff them with people who will be in the client's meetings, not briefed about them. The team forms a view and defends it rather than laying out options for the client to choose from. Engagements often run past the recommendation, with partners sitting in on board meetings and testing management plans as decisions get implemented.
People who do well here are writers and number-owners. They are comfortable sitting with ambiguity in a client's own vocabulary, asking a second question when the first answer is vague, and being accountable for a figure months after the slide was presented.

What You Will Do
- Build and maintain spend and return models across paid-click channels, reconciling platform data against finance figures so the numbers hold up in a client meeting.
- Produce the portfolio review the client's marketing and finance leads work from: margin by channel, brand and market, with the assumptions written down.
- Sit in working sessions with client teams to understand how campaigns are actually briefed, bought and measured, and where the reported figures diverge from that.
- Write the analysis sections of mandate documents and board papers, in plain language, with the recommendation stated rather than left open.
- Test management's own plans and forecasts for paid demand, and say clearly when the assumptions behind them do not hold.
- Support principals through the implementation phase, tracking whether the changes agreed with the client are being made and what they cost.
- A track record of quantitative analysis in a commercial setting: consulting, in-house strategy, finance, or performance marketing for a business with real spend.
- Comfort with paid search and paid social platforms and their reporting, including the gaps between attribution models and a finance ledger.
- Strong spreadsheet and modeling skills, plus the ability to work in a client's own data rather than waiting for it to be cleaned.
- Clear writing in English. Arabic is useful for client interviews and source documents, not a condition.
- The judgment to know when an answer is good enough to act on and when the data does not support a view yet.
