Job Description:

Director of Portfolio, Demand & Value Realization | Mars Digital Technologies | GUA | GSW | QRO | Other locations

The Director of Portfolio, Demand & Value Realization operates as a core leadership role within Enabling Capabilities and acts as a strategic integrator across MGS, Digital Technologies, Functions and Segments. The role does not simply manage a consolidated list of projects. It establishes the mechanisms through which MGS understands demand, makes investment choices, allocates constrained capacity and evaluates whether its portfolio is delivering the outcomes required by the enterprise strategy.

Operating in a highly matrixed environment, the Director must balance multiple perspectives and competing priorities while maintaining an enterprise-wide view. The role works primarily through influence, governance, transparency and fact-based recommendations rather than direct authority over all portfolio resources.

The Director is expected to constructively challenge leadership assumptions and individual priorities when required to protect enterprise value. Success requires creating transparency where priorities compete, surfacing trade-offs early and enabling leadership to make explicit choices on what MGS will—and will not—do.

The role operates globally across multiple functions, segments, geographies and time zones, with significant exposure to senior executives and complex enterprise transformation agendas.

What will be your key responsibilities?

MGS Leadership Team and functional leadership.

  • Digital Technologies leadership.
  • Segment and business leadership.
  • Strategy and Transformation teams.
  • Finance and financial-planning teams.
  • Service-line and Global Process Owners.
  • Enabling Capabilities leadership.
  • Service Performance & Insights.
  • Process, Automation & Productivity.
  • Program, Transformation and PMO leaders.
  • Corporate strategy and enterprise planning teams.
  • External strategic and technology partners where applicable.

What are we looking for?

Extensive senior leadership experience across enterprise portfolio management, strategy execution, transformation, investment governance or value management in a complex global organization.

  • Demonstrated experience managing large, cross-functional portfolios and translating enterprise strategy into investment and prioritization decisions.
  • Strong experience in demand management, portfolio prioritization, capacity planning and enterprise trade-off decisions.
  • Deep understanding of value realization, business cases, benefits management, financial planning and investment governance.
  • Experience connecting business, technology and functional portfolios within a highly matrixed environment.
  • Proven ability to influence senior executives, challenge priorities constructively and drive decisions where accountability is distributed across multiple organizations.
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen, with the ability to evaluate productivity, efficiency, growth, risk and strategic value.
  • Experience designing and implementing portfolio governance, performance frameworks and executive-level decision forums.
  • Strong analytical capability and experience using portfolio data and insights to drive decisions and interventions.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop senior teams and build organizational capability.
  • Excellent executive communication, facilitation, storytelling and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Experience in Global Business Services, shared services, enterprise transformation or Digital/Technology environments strongly preferred.
