We're recruiting a Portfolio Manager for an established international business operating across events, industry forums, publications and advisory services.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you'll sit at the intersection of commercial strategy, business development and project delivery. This is an opportunity for someone who understands that successful events and products need more than great execution - they need a clear commercial vision and a strategy that delivers results.

🚀 What you'll be doing:

💼 Drive commercial growth - Identify new revenue streams across sponsorship, advertising, partnerships and advisory services.

📊 Own portfolio performance - Manage budgets, forecasts, financial reporting and P&L performance, ensuring commercial targets are achieved.

🎯 Develop new opportunities - Turn market insights and industry trends into new events, forums, publications and products.

🤝 Build influential relationships - Work with senior stakeholders, industry leaders, sponsors, commercial partners and internal teams.

📈 Shape sales strategy - Partner with commercial teams to strengthen sales pipelines, develop value propositions and grow key accounts.

🎤 Lead end-to-end delivery - Oversee projects from initial concept and planning through execution, evaluation and post-event reporting.

📣 Strengthen market positioning - Work alongside marketing and programming teams to develop compelling content, campaigns and brand strategies.

👥 Bring teams together - Coordinate functions, manage resources, control costs and ensure projects are delivered to a high standard.

🔎 What we're looking for:

You'll bring a blend of commercial thinking, financial accountability and hands-on portfolio management experience.

Ideally, you'll have:

✅ Experience managing events, conferences, exhibitions, industry forums, B2B media or related commercial products.

✅ A proven track record of generating revenue, developing business opportunities or growing commercial portfolios.

✅ Experience with budgets, financial forecasting, P&L management and performance reporting.

✅ Strong stakeholder management and the ability to work effectively with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.

✅ Experience taking projects from concept through to delivery, with a focus on quality, deadlines and profitability.

✅ The ability to work independently, make informed decisions and manage competing priorities in a remote environment.
